Papa Johns franchise group eyeing Iraq

A Papa Johns franchisee is looking to take the brand to Iraq in 2024, according to an Iraqi News report.

PJP Investments Group operates more than 120 Papa Johns Pizza stores in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The franchisee group plans to add 300 more by 2030.

The report said Iraq is a solid market for international chains with a population of more than 40 million people.

PJP Investments Group has had double-digit revenue growth in the past five years.
