Papa John's intros its own 'surprise inside' this season

Papa John's is getting in on the seasonal gift-wrapping action with its own pleasingly packaged surprise of stuffed crust pizzas filled with cheese, beginning Dec. 21, a news release said.

Papa John's Epic Stuffed Crust includes extra cheese, hand-stuffed into the dough, which ultimately becomes a melted cheese enveloped pizza crust.

Beginning Monday, Papa Rewards members will get the first crack at the LTO, through Dec. 27. Then the brand will open it up to the nation to try on Dec. 28 for $12 for a large one-topping pizza with the promo code STUFFED.

This latest menu addition is only the second variation on Papa John's original crust in 35 years, following the release of garlic Parmesan crust in 2019.

This year, the brand has released six =products, including its Papadia, Popper rolls and Shaq-a-Roni pizza.

Papa John's has more than 5,360 stores worldwide and is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. The brand is moving many of its corporate functions to Atlanta, where a new headquarters is beginning construction soon.
