Papa John's has announced the National Football League Kickoff Special, a large, two-topping pizza for $10 and a chocolate chip cookie for $5, available next week.

The company has benefited financially from NFL sponsorship and exposure in local markets, the release said.

And later this month the company will air its 2013 Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player ad campaign, featuring Peyton Manning, to promote the Kickoff Special.

The special runs through Sept. 28.
