Papa John's Schnatter inducted into J.A. Business Hall of Fame

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — John Schnatter, founder and executive chairman of
Papa John's International, has been inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame.
According to a news release, honorees are recognized for their business excellence, courageous thinking and actions, vision and innovation, inspiring leadership and philanthropy.
Schnatter founded Papa John's in 1984 when he began selling pizzas out of his uncle's tavern in Jeffersonville, Ind. He led the company's growth to nearly 3,000 restaurants in 50 states and 26 countries.
Accompanying Schnatter on this year's list of inductees are: Harold Boeschenstein (1896-1972), chairman and chief executive officer of Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp.;
Earl Graves Sr., founder, chairman and publisher of Black Enterprise Magazine; Hugh McColl Jr., retired chairman and chief executive officer of Bank of America; and Ted Turner, chairman of Turner Enterprises Inc.
The official induction will be held April 26 in Charlotte, N.C.
