Papa John's serves up '1040' tax time pizza special

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Pizza lovers pushing the deadline to file their taxes minute can grab a Papa John's "1040" special from April 11-17.

According to a news release, for $10.40, hungry number crunchers can get a large original crust cheese pizza with up to five free toppings. All orders must be placed through the chain's Web site using a "1040" promotional code.

The limited-time offer will be supported by a full-page ad in USA Today on April 11.

Papa John's is the only national pizza chain to offer online ordering for all of its restaurants through a single-platform system that interfaces directly with the restaurants' POS system.
