Papa Murphy's Canada selects SpeedLine as POS partner for franchise expansion

Papa Murphy's Canada has partnered with SpeedLine to provide point-of-sale technology for all Canadian locations of Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza.

Papa Murphy's Canada has partnered with SpeedLine to provide point-of-sale technology for all the bradn's Canadian locations, according to a press release from SpeedLine.

"Technology innovation is an important consideration in designing systems to make our franchisees successful," said Chuck van der Lee, owner and president of Papa M Pizza Canada, the Canadian franchisor for Papa Murphy's. "SpeedLine point of sale is specifically designed for pizza, and our franchisees are using its toolset to control food and labor costs and increase sales in the stores."

"We have rolled out SpeedLine point of sale systems in Papa Murphy's locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to date, and will be installing next month in the brand's first Ontario location as we continue our Canadian expansion."

Ray Levasseur, franchise owner, said it helped him control labor costs.

"You can really trim your labor right down to the dollar — which is vital in a business where you're watching every dollar," he said. "It's absolutely the best thing we've done in our business since we've opened."
