April 28, 2005

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza announced the promotion of Dick Larsen to vice president of development and Jenny Pettit to regional vice president of operations at the 850-unit chain.

According to a news release, Larsen and Pettit will assist with the company's aggressive expansion goals of opening 115 new locations this year.

Over the next five years, the company wants to grow extensively in and around Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Mo., Louisville, Ky., Minneapolis, San Francisco, Sacramento, Calif., Salt Lake City, St. Louis and Wichita, Kan. Openings also are slated for Texas, Ohio and throughout the Pacific Northwest.

"The expertise that both individuals bring to these positions will play a key role in the structure and development of all our future store openings," said Mark Laramie, president of Papa Murphy's. "Expanding our executive team with these two positions ... will ensure that we offer our increasing roster of franchisees the best support possible."

In his seven years with the chain Larsen has worked in real estate management. Pettit has more than two decades' experience with the company, beginning with Papa Aldo's Pizza (which was purchased by Papa Murphy's in 1990), where she worked as a franchise consultant and training director.
