Papa Murphy’s unveils Halloween menu promotions

Papa Murphy's is kicking off the Halloween season with its Jack-O-Lantern Pizza and is also launching new "Spooky Dough."

The Jack-O-Lantern pizza will be available nationwide beginning today through Oct. 31. It features traditional red sauce, whole milk mozzarella cheese and a smiling jack-o-lantern face made with pepperoni and olives.

Spooky Dough is available at participating stores and is an orange chocolate chip cookie dough. It is sold in a 1-pound container.

"Our brand has become a staple for many busy moms and families that are looking to provide an easy, fresh, high quality meal to their kids before a full night of trick-or-treating," CEO Ken Calwell said in a news release. "This year, we are thrilled to add Spooky Dough, a fun dessert that kids can help to prepare, to the seasonal lineup and create excitement around a fresh baked meal."

According to a news release, Halloween is the chain's busiest day of the year.
