Papa Romano's to buy ice cream chain

Detroit Free Press: Papa Romano's Enterprises Inc. is planning to buy a majority stake in Stucchi's, a manufacturer and wholesaler of premium ice cream. Stucchi's operates nine licensed restaurants, about two dozen co-licensed locations and is sold in about 150 grocery and convenience stores.

Papa Romano's acquired an equity stake in fast-casual chain Mr. Pita last year.
