PAR launches PAR Tablet 10, PAR Tablet 8 accessories

New tablet features larger, 10-inch screen format.

ParTech Inc. announced today the launch of the PAR Tablet 10 and accessories for the PAR 8 Tablet.

"We are pleased to offer an extended family of products to meet any mobile customer needs in hospitality and retail," said Karen E. Sammon, president of ParTech, in a company press release. "With the addition of the PAR Tablet 10, customers now have the flexibility to customize tablet use to every specific need and application."

The PAR Tablet 10 applications include:

• Self-service and kiosk options - Can be utilized as a self-service station, or to replace a traditional POS terminal. The tablet can also be used as a tabletop application for upselling and gaming.
• Customer engagement tools - Optional wall mount for consumer access to loyalty programs, participation and surveys.
• Manager/store associate tablets - Enables manager access to information anywhere on the store floor or to utilize as a portable training tool for associates.

Key features include:

• 10-inch screen
• Up to 10 hours of battery life
• Lifecycle model of up to four years

PAR 8 accessories include:

• Magnetic Stripe Reader Smart Back Cover (MSR)
• Tablet Shield
• 2 Cradle Options
• Neck or wrist strap

The cradle options and neck or wrist straps are also available for the PAR 10 tablet.
