Perry's Pizza celebrates 50 years in California

California-based Perry's Pizza is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month. The brand launched in 1973 and is owned by husband-and-wife duo Jess and Dawn Bingaman, according to a press release.

The restaurant is located in a nearly 4,000-square-foot cornerstone unit after doubling the size of the restaurant in 2022 by acquiring the space next door. Perry's was originally located in Newport Beach but the brand was forced to relocate in 2014 after the lease was not renewed.

"Our move to Huntington Beach has been the biggest blessing. In a way, it's allowed us to grow with our guests," Dawn Bingaman said in the release. "The guests we grew up grabbing a slice with in Newport, now visit us in Huntington with families of their own — the expanded space allows us to welcome our growing community in. We've created this to be a place they can call home."
