PETA offers 'vegan' guide for dining at Pizza Hut

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has published a vegan guide for those who want to eat at Pizza Hut.

In a website post, PETA dished about Pizza Hut's limited-time offer of Beyond Meat Italian Sausage Crumbles and how vegans can order them to their liking.

The guide provides insight on how to 'vegan' signature pies, create an individual vegan pie (request no cheese) and gives the lowdown even on crust ingredients. For example, the Buttery Blend Crust has no butter, and all the other options are made with cow's milk.

The group even maps out what's in the classic marinara and buffalo sauces — the latter contains honey.

There's also a hefty list of vegan toppings.
