Peter Piper Pizza kicks off Dallas expansion

June 11, 2007

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Two new Peter Piper Pizza restaurants are opening in the Dallas market this summer as part of a plan to open 10 locations by 2011.

The first restaurant opened June 11 at the McKinney Towne Center. The second will open July 2 at The Marketplace in Highland Village.

A third restaurant will open in the Dallas area in late 2007 in Garland.

The first Peter Piper opened in 1973 in Glendale, Ariz. The company has 41 company-owned restaurants and 94 franchise restaurants in the United States and Mexico.

All Peter Piper Pizza locations offer made-from-scratch pizza, salads, a variety of appetizers and desserts, and a weekday pizza and salad lunch buffet for $3.99. In addition, the Dallas-area locations also will offer oven-baked sandwiches on Parmesan herb bread made from scratch. A new Grab 'n Go area will feature fresh-made items that guests can take home and bake at their convenience.
