Peter Piper Pizza launches Slice of Knowledge Foundation for children's education

Peter Piper Pizza has launched the Slice of Knowledge Foundation, a charitable initiative focused on supporting children's education in Phoenix, Tucson and Albuquerque.

The foundation will award grants to local charities that prioritize education programs. Funds will be raised through a partnership with ICEE, where customers donating $2 to the foundation receive coupons for free drinks.

"For 50 years, community outreach has been a core value," Rochelle Romero, brand marketing manager for Peter Piper Pizza, said in the press release. "The Slice of Knowledge Foundation allows us to expand our impact on organizations that empower the next generation."

Peter Piper Pizza has a history of community involvement, donating more than $600,000 annually to schools, hospitals and nonprofits focused on children's education and development. This year alone, they have contributed nearly $160,000 through initiatives like their February heart-shaped pizza fundraiser.

The company also partners with local schools and organizations to host fundraising nights, donating up to 20% of sales to the participating group.

Peter Piper Pizza is a subsidiary of CEC Entertainment. The brand has more than 120 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
