Pie Five continues food pantry campaign for newest Wichita opening

Pie Five Pizza Co. has opened its newest Wichita, Kansas, restaurant on Rock Road, across from Bradley Fair. The opening marks the third location in Wichita and the sixth in Kansas.

The new restaurant will throw a grand opening party beginning at 11 a.m. on Dec. 19, and will be collecting canned goods to benefit the Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. In addition to food donations, local franchisee Jim Stevens and his crew have an ongoing partnership with the charity through which proceeds from private training events and their Miracle Monday promotion benefit the nonprofit.

Each Monday, Pie Five donates 5 percent of all sales to the food pantry. According to a news release, more than $5,500 has been raised from these events to date.
