Pie Five Pizza will open new stores in Indiana and Tennessee, while also honoring community efforts.

September 8, 2015

Beginning Sept. 10, Pie Five Pizza will have two new locations in Indiana and Tennessee.

The newest Indiana location will open on Sept. 10 at 6703 Whitestown Parkway in Zionsville across the street from Lowes in front of Meijer.

"Pie Five's concept is so unique with farm fresh ingredients, amazing service and pizza any way you want it in under 5 minutes — we knew the community would love it," Pie Five Pizza franchise owner Carl Dissette said. "We see significant growth potential in the state!"

In celebration of the store’s grand opening, 50 percent of pre-opening event proceeds will be donated to the Damar Foundation, whose goal is to enable people challenged by autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and related behavioral challenges to live more successful lives, according to a company press release. Pie Five will present the Damar Foundation with the donation during the opening-day ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Zionsville Chamber of Commerce will be present for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10.

On Sept. 11, Pie Five Pizza will open its first location in the Knoxville, Tennessee area, making it the second location in Tennessee. In honor of the anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, this new Pie Five location will honor all first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs) with a free pizza on opening day, according to a company press release. The new store will be located at 443 South Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge near the American Museum of Science and Energy.

"Whether for business or pleasure, the Oak Ridge area has a very active restaurant scene," Pie Five General Manager Charles Hampton said. "I know the community will love Pie Five's unique concept with fresh ingredients and unlimited toppings for a great price!"

In addition, during the opening-day ribbon-cutting ceremony, Pie Five will present the local Make-A-Wish chapter with a check for 50 percent of the proceeds earned during pre-opening events, the release stated. The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.

Dallas-based Pie Five Pizza Co. is a subsidiary of RAVE Restaurant Group, Inc. RAVE owns, franchises and supplies more than 300 Pie Five and Pizza Inn restaurants operating domestically and internationally.
