Pieology celebrating summer with a special pie, topping item

Pieology is launching a limited-time BBQ luau pizza topped with a unique offering — French's fried onions.

The pie and topping ingredient are inspired by island flavors and is in celebration of the summer season, according to a press release. The LTO will be available as of Aug. 3 at all locations except in Connecticut.

The pie features BBQ sauce, mozzarella, all natural chicken, bacon, Del Monte pineapples and the fried onions topping.

It will be available starting Aug. 3, at all Pieology locations except in Connecticut.

Founded in 2011, the brand operates 130 restaurants.
