Pieology offers make-it-yourself 'Care Packs' for groups

Pieology has launched Pizza Care packages to send pies and other goodies to doctors, area medical professionals, first responders, family members, friends or anyone they feel could use a little pick-me-up in these stressful times, a news release said. 

Each $50 care package includes four build-your-own thin pizzas, an Ooey Gooey cheese bread and a family-size dessert. The brand is also nudging care pack recipients and others to donate to 

The brand also encourages those ordering to give to its pandemic relief fund, with a special button to do so on its website under the care packages ordering page. The fund sends all proceeds directly those in need due to business and other fallout from the pandemic.
