Pieology appoints new VP of marketing

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.-based Pieology has appointed its first vice president of marketing, Debbie Porter.

Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.-based Pieology has appointed its first vice president of marketing, Debbie Porter, according to a release.

Porter is the former head of marketing at Bravo Brio Restaurant Group and has approximately 20 years of experience in the food industry. She served in marketing positions as The Veggie Grill, Fox Restaurant Concepts and Kahala Restaurant Franchising.

"Debbie is a proven and effective marketing strategist, who brings to Pieology a wealth and depth of experience to our team," said Carl Chang, founder and CEO, Pieology Pizzeria, in the announcement. "Debbie's perspective and focus on brand, marketing and communications across traditional and digital platforms will be at the core of our continued expansion and evolution in coming years."
