Pizza battle brewing in Missoula, Mont.

The Missoulian: MISSOULA, Mont. — A bit of a pizza war is brewing in Missoula, where some 30 operators are fighting to serve the town's 57,000 people.

When Big Boys Pizza opens in two weeks, it will follow other summer startups including The Fireplace, which sells organic, gourmet pizzas, and Freemo's, a $3.99 all-you-can-eat pizza buffet.

With longtime pizza purveyors Zimorino's, Howard's, Mackenzie Rivers, Pizza Hut and Domino's Pizza, the question of "How many pizza places can one town support?" is on the lips of locals.
