Pizza delivery driver stabbed, abducted, but escapes

The Herald Sun: SYDNEY, Australia — A pizza delivery driver here was ambushed and abducted on Sept. 25, police said.

When the 32-year-old Canley Vale driver stopped to deliver a pizza that evening, he was set upon by two men and a woman and stabbed several times. He was put in the trunk of his car and driven around before the trio abandoned the car in nearby Wakeley.

The delivery driver called for help on his mobile phone, police said.

He was later treated for stab wounds to his body.
