Pizza delivery drivers share tales of the good, bad and the funny

The Orion Online: CHICO, Calif. — As hot pizza sits in one hand, the other hand pounds on a door waiting to encounter yet another crazy episode. It's all in a day's work as an ever-popular pizza delivery driver.

Pizza delivery drivers here deal with the good, the bad, the friendly and the intoxicated.

Junior Beau Camaren has been delivering pizzas around Chico for Pizza Hut, Rico's Pizza and now Mountain Mike's. With six years of experience, he's had some interesting and funny experiences.

Like the time he made a delivery to a house that requested they "send a cute guy" on the bill. It was a girl's 16th birthday party.

"I get there and the mom pulls me inside and offers to pay me like 15 or 20 bucks to sing happy birthday to their daughter while they get it all on video," Camaren said. "Everyone was screaming like I was some stripper. But I totally did it."
