Pizza delivery fees increase in Chicago area

Chicago Sun-Times: Chain and independent pizza operators in the Chicago area are charging 50 cents to a $1.50 more per delivery to offset rising gasoline prices.

Some operators increased delivery driver compensation to buffer soaring fuel prices, but when the costs of food and trash pick-up rose, they had to ask the customer for more. So far, they say, patrons don't seem to mind the increase.
