Pizza drivers say fees hurt tips during gas price crunch

IndyChannel.com: Soaring gas prices have left pizza drivers complaining about reduced income, but some claim delivery fees aren't the answer to offsetting their losses.

"We've noticed all the big chains have started charging a delivery fee now, and our drivers do not want that because the customers tend not to tip as well," said Marilyn Warden, owner of Circle City Pizza in Indianapolis.
