Pizza edging out tortilla in Mexico

The Arizona Republic: Pizza is impacting the sale of Mexico's traditional fast foods, according to Francisco Juarez, the head of the Mexican National Restaurant Chamber's Mexico City chapter. Juarez said sales of the traditional torta sandwich alone have declined by 50 percent over the last decade because of competition from foreign foods.
