Pizza Executive Summit kicks off in Chicago

More than 75 pizza company executives, vendors and industry experts are gathering today and Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Chicago for the first Pizza Executive Summit, a two-day event featuring networking opportunities, workgroup sessions and an exchange of ideas and innovations on the industry's top strategic issues.
 
Online media company NetWorld Alliance is the organizer of the Pizza Executive Summit. NetWorld Alliance is the publisher of PizzaMarketplace.com.
 
The Summit kicks off at noon with a keynote address by Janelle Barlow, an author and expert in the area of getting and keeping customers through branded service. Barlow will speak on the changes facing the pizza industry and how operators can deliver their brand to the ever-changing consumer.
 
Other sessions slated for Monday include an Executive Boot Camp, featuring Rudy Miick of Miick & Associates, Nick Sarillo of Nick's Pizza & Pub, Jamie Strobino of UNO Chicago Grill and Wiley Cerilli of Seamless Web. This roundtable session will offer inside executive information on technology, human resources, marketing and operations.
 
Also on the agenda is a session titled "Greenfusion: New Track to the Profit Line," featuring Networld Alliance executive vice president Paul Barron and Technomic partner Tom Miner. This session will focus on green and sustainable business practices.
 
The Pizza Executive Summit continues through June 9.
