Pizza Express owner sold to Cinven in $1.6 billion deal

The Scotsman: Private equity group Cinven has agreed to buy Pizza Express owner Gondola Holdings in a cash-and-debt deal worth about £900 million (U.S. $1.68 billion).

 

Gondola chairman David Ross said the directors were "adamant" that shareholders should vote for the deal.
