Pizza Factory to expand in Texas

Pizza Factory has signed an agreement with Satwinder Singh to grow the brand in Lavon, Texas. Singh, who has been in the gas station business for over 20 years, recently joined the brand as a franchise owner. In addition to his gas station experience, he has owned and operated Which Wich and Hunt Brothers Pizza, and is eager to transfer his skills to his new Pizza Factory location, which will be located in a gas station shopping center along State Highway 78, according to a press release.
"Having worked in the gas station business for so many years, I know how important it is to have quality food options for customers at each station," Singh said in the press release. "When looking for my next business venture, I was searching for an investment that would complement new center and Pizza Factory stood out because of the wide variety of menu options and innovative selections. The brand is so much more than pizza, and given its presence is growing in Texas, I'm looking forward to playing a part in its expansion by bringing a location to the people of Lavon."
The brand has also signed recent agreements for Fate, Texas and Gilmer, Texas.
"As we open locations with different and unique models, this gas station shopping center in Lavon is an exciting new venture for us," Mary Jane Riva, CEO of Pizza Factory, said in the press release. "Texas is a major growth market for Pizza Factory and it is rewarding to see interest in the state remain high, especially after the successful opening of our first location in Fate. With Satwinder's extensive background running gas stations and restaurant operations, we are eager to continue expanding our Texas presence with such a strong operator."
Pizza Factory operates more than 100 restaurants.
