Pizza Fusion plans Vegas unit

Pizza Fusion will open a new restaurant in the Las Vegas area this spring.

The new 1,800-square-foot unit will be located in Henderson, Nev., in the Eastern Commons Shopping Center.

Pizza Fusion offers dine-in, take out, delivery, and catering service options. The restaurant serves a three-course menu for lunch and dinner, featuring an assortment of salads, appetizers, artisan pizzas, sandwiches and desserts.

"Pizza Fusion's high quality menu, emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and respect for the environment will provide Clark County residents with delicious, feel good experience that's truly special," said Blair Ford, owner of Pizza Fusion Henderson. "After searching for more than a year, I chose Pizza Fusion for its distinction within the food industry, including the highest quality product backed by best in class operations."

Founded in 2007, Pizza Fusion locally sources its produce at all locations, whenever possible. The company also builds its locations according to LEED certification standards.

Ford brings an extensive background in operations to Pizza Fusion. Prior to this, he was vice president of Mars Inc. Global Retail and Licensing for M&M's Division, director of Operations at MGM Retail, director of Operations at Universal Studios, and general manager at HMS Host. Blair has a BA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oregon.
