Pizza Guys adding 6 California stores this year

Sacramento, California-based, Pizza Guys, said its expanding its network of more than 70 locations, with plans to open six stores over the next few months across the Golden State. Though not all opening months are firmed up yet, a news release said that California locations are planned for Atwater (May), Berkley (March), Corona, Fresno (July), Lancaster (June) and San Jose.
"As we continue to provide our customers with access to high-quality food throughout California, Oregon, and Nevada, we are proud to expand our network and support new communities, especially during the pandemic," Pizza Guys CEO and founder Shahpour Nejad said in the release.
"As guidelines were implemented that limited or closed dining rooms, the demand for delivery and takeout increased very rapidly. Because of our model, our brand has continued to grow and thrive during these unprecedented times, allowing us to hire more workers and create much-needed jobs in communities throughout the West Coast."
