The 69-store Sacramento, California-based, Pizza Guys brand, plans to go deep — as in deeply south in California — for its next growth spurt. The brand said in a news release that it hopes to expand by as many as 15 additional stores in the markets south of Los Angeles.
Currently, Pizza Guys has five Southern California stores in Santa Clarita, Apple Valley, Victorville, Rancho Cucamonga and Corona.
"Right now, we are seeing demand for food from takeout and delivery restaurants rise, which means it is a perfect industry for people to become involved in, especially with Pizza Guys," Pizza Guys co-founder and CEO Shahpour Nejad, said in the release. "We are excited to announce our expansion in San Diego and look forward to partnering with local entrepreneurs looking to bring a proven and affordable business concept to their community."
This expansion throughout Southern California is part of Pizza Guys' growth strategy to expand the brand's presence throughout the West Coast and beyond.
The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Pizza Guys franchise can be up to $300,000, the release said. The brand was founded in 1986 and has been franchising since 1994.
