Pizza Guys going 'flat out' for street tacos

Sacramento, California-based Pizza Guys is taking the street taco to a new more level plane with its Street Taco Flatbread, available March 1, a news release said.

The elongated oval-shaped offering features grilled chicken, taco sauce, seasoning, mozzarella and pico de gallo on a flatbread base, served with sides of lime and Cholula hot sauce.

"Pizza Guys constantly strives to be innovative by creating exciting new menu items. We are thrilled to be adding the Street Taco Flatbread to our menu," Pizza Guys CEO and Founder Shahpour Nejad said in the release. "One bite of the Street Taco Flatbread provides customers a chance to escape to another experience."

The Street Taco Flatbread is available for $10.99 throughout the Sacramento, as well as the Nevada market. It costs $12.99 in the Bay Area and $13.99 in the Greater Bay Area., however.

It joins Fiery Pepperoni Bacon, Creamy Pesto Artichoke and Grilled Chicken Spinach flatbreads, which are already on the menu.

Pizza Guys has 70 stores in three Western states.
