Pizza Guys intros Mediterranean pie

Sacramento, California-based Pizza Guys has rolled out Mediterranean Pizza at stores throughout its home-base city, as well as the Bay and Greater Bay Area, a news release said.

The Mediterranean Pizza is made with pesto sauce and topped with fresh tomatoes, green olives, marinated artichoke hearts, and spiced Italian salami.

"Pizza Guys constantly strives to be innovative by creating new and exciting menu items. We are thrilled to be adding the Mediterranean Pizza to our menu," Pizza Guys CEO and founder Shahpour Nejad said in the release. "One bite of the Mediterranean Pizza provides customers a chance to escape to another experience."

The pie is priced at $15.99 throughout Sacramento and $17.99 in the Bay and Greater Bay Area.

Pizza Guys has 70 stores open and operating across three states.
