Pizza Guys opening in Bakersfield, California

Sacramento, California-based Pizza Guys will expand its California presence when a Bakersfield location opens this month.

The restaurant is owned by franchisees Hittan Wadhawa and Ranjit Kaur and slated to open in late April, according to a press release.

The Bakersfield Pizza Guys location will offer takeout and carryout only, with third-party delivery options available.

"I knew Pizza Guys was a brand I wanted to become involved with from the first time I tried their pizza products," Kaur said in the release. "We are extremely excited to begin building relationships with local residents and create new lifelong customers of the Pizza Guys brand with our new location in Bakersfield."

"Seeing Hittan and Ranjit open their first Pizza Guys location is a happy moment for our brand," Shahpour Nejad, Pizza Guys CEO and founder, said in the release. "We are confident they will run a true role model business at the local level and are proud to have them as local owners."

Pizza Guys has more than 75 stores open across three states.
