California-based Pizza Guys has hit its 100th location nationwide. The restaurant, located in Plano, Texas, also marks its entry into the state, according to a press release.
The store is locally owned and operated by Ramandeep (Raman) Singh and Ranjeet Klair, a husband-and-wife team with extensive food industry experience and a shared passion for great food and hospitality.
Singh will lead daily operations, team training and guest experience, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and valued. Klair, with her extensive background in food safety, quality assurance and operations management, will ensure every meal meets Pizza Guys' high standards for quality and consistency.
"When we decided to open a Pizza Guys in Plano, it wasn't just about bringing another pizza restaurant to town," Klair said in the release. "It was about becoming part of a community that values quality, hospitality, and family — just like we do."
A grand opening will be held Oct. 18 with a ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. followed by the store opening at 10 a.m. The first 25 customers will receive a free large pizza and be entered into a drawing to win pizza for a year. Guests can enjoy a DJ, a prize wheel featuring Pizza Guys merchandise, free pizza cards and additional prizes throughout the event.
"Reaching our 100th location and opening in Texas is a proud moment for Pizza Guys," Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys, said in the release. "Plano is the perfect place to start this new chapter and Ramandeep and Ranjeet are the ideal local partners to represent our brand. Their integrity, experience and dedication to quality make them a great fit for the community."
The brand was founded in 1986 and began franchising in 1994.
