Pizza Guys opens in Westminster, California

Sacramento-based Pizza Guys has opened a restaurant in Westminster, California, according to a press release.

The Westminster location is owned and operated by Hooman Horbakht, a local entrepreneur and experienced multi-unit Pizza Guys franchisee who also owns a nearby Pizza Guys restaurant in Laguna Woods. This is his second restaurant.

"After opening my Laguna Woods location, I saw firsthand how much people appreciate great food and service that makes them feel valued," Horbakht said in the release. "I am proud to be a local franchisee here in Orange County and take a lot of pride in serving the community. With Westminster, my goal is to create a place families can count on."

Shahpour Nejad, CEO and co-founder of Pizza Guys, said Horbakht is the kind of operator the brand looks for as a franchisee. "He has built a strong reputation with his Laguna Woods restaurant and we are excited to see him bring that same direction to Westminster. Orange County continues to be a strong market for us, and we're excited to see this location thrive," Nejad said in the release.
