Pizza Hut acquires 46 Ohio units from franchisee

Pizza Hut Inc. repurchased 46 restaurants in the Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio, markets from a single franchisee.

According to the Cincinnati Business Journal, the company plans to revitalize the stores and build new stores in underserviced areas.

The Dallas-based chain, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, has no plans for new franchisees in the Southwest Ohio area.
