Pizza Hut is resurrecting its Big Dipper Pizza as an LTO that the brand said is just the first of a series of "fan-favorite comebacks" planned for this year, according to a news release. The massive, nearly 2-foot-long, rectangular 24-piece pie was a brand favorite as far back as 2011.

The return of the Big Dipper comes with two marinara, one ranch and one honey barbecue sauce to dip the slices into for $12.99 in either cheese, pepperoni or a combination of both. And there is built-up anticipation for the item's return, even including a change.org petition from seven years back to return the mega-pie to the Hut's offerings.

Of course, this return is an LTO, so it won't last long, but the brand said all year its LTOs will be very déjà vu in tone when it returns some of its "oldies, but goodies" to the menu for limited-time runs.

"The Big Dipper is a Pizza Hut fan favorite. With 24 pieces of pizza and four dipping sauces, it's a craveable pizza packed with flavor and fun," said David Graves, chief brand officer, Pizza Hut, in the release. "Pizza Hut was built on providing the best tasting and most innovative pizzas in the industry. The Big Dipper is no exception. It's a Pizza Hut classic reimagined to deliver an unbeatable taste that customers can only get from Pizza Hut."

As Pizza Hut is the Official Pizza Partner of the NCAA, the brand said that it will be in Atlanta for the tournament handing out more than 8,000 slices of free pizza via the Pizza Hut delivery fleet at places like Krog Street Market, the College Football Hall of Fame, Vine City Station and more.
