LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Economic Times' (India) annual survey of India's "Most Trusted Brands" in 2005 rated Pizza Hut as the most trusted quick-service restaurant company there for the third year in a row.
According to a news release, Pizza Hut India, part of Yum! Restaurants International (YRI), is the largest and fastest-growing quick-service restaurant company in India.
The survey ranked brands that have earned the trust and loyalty of consumers across India. The survey, conducted by ACNielsen's ORGMARG market research company, asked more than 7,000 participants across different socioeconomic, age, income and geographic backgrounds, various questions in order to determine each company's overall trust score.
"Pizza Hut is an international brand that is part of India's local fabric and our customers' lives," said Sandeep Kohli, managing director, YRI India. "We're honored to be named the most trusted quick-service restaurant company in India."
As of December, there were 118 Pizza Hut in India.
