CHANDIGARH, India -- Moving to offer more native-inspired menu items, Pizza Hut is introducing a line of tandoori-style pizzas in India.
According to the Times of India, nearly 40 Pizza Hut operations there will add six new pan pizzas to the menu. Three new vegetarian selections include Veggie Tama Tam, Aloo Attack and Paneer Punjabi (starting at Rs 65 (U.S. $1.36 for a Personal Pan. Three new non-vegetarian pizzas include Murg Mazedar, Jhinga Zaba-rdast and Supreme Tandoori, which are priced at Rs 95 (U.S. $1.99) for a Personal Pan size.
According to Lalit Chhiber, a Pizza Hut shift manager in Chandigarh, the new offerings will give customers wider options and better value.
