Brands Inc. — owner of Pizza Hut and other fast-food properties — has been trumpeting the future of its international business lately, but its U.S. restaurants showed last month that they're not ready to play second fiddle just yet. Pizza Hut had a tough comparison with last year, when it introduced the 4forALL mini pizzas. But the Dippin' Strips promotion helped Pizza Hut gain 2 percent over last year.
