Pizza Hut workers at a Los Angeles store waged a strike for three days over the loss of meal breaks, overtime and paid sick leave, according to a Los Angeles Daily News report.
The restaurant has five employees at the W. Temple Street location who are seeking $81,000 in back pay and penalties. They filed the complaint with the California Labor Commissioner's Office.
The Pizza Hut location is owned by Southern California Pizza Co.
The employees claim in one example that a manager changed employee hours and said breaks had been taken when they had not.
Pizza Hut reps and members of the franchise group could not be reached for comment, according to the report.
