Pizza Hut to give away 1M personal pan pizzas as part of Book It! Program

Pizza Hut will give away one million personal pan pizzas during National Book Month, October. The Book It program invites readers of all ages to participate. In the past, it has only been available for children, according to a press release.

Book It provides a platform that encourages students from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. As part of Pizza Hut's 40th anniversary, the brand is inviting readers of all ages to participate.

"I'm incredibly proud of what the BOOK IT! program has achieved over the past four decades," Carl Loredo, Pizza Hut U,S, president, said in the press release. "It's inspired more than 70 million children to discover the magic of books, helping to build a lifelong love of reading. As we're celebrating 40 years, we're excited to invite readers of all ages to rediscover the joy of reading — one book (and pizza) at a time."

Code BOOKIT40 will give pizza fans at checkout online on via the app a free personal pan pizza. The code is vaild today through Oct. 30 or until 1 million personal pan pizzas are redeemed.

Pizza Hut operates more than 19,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
