Pizza Inn introduces Stuffed Crust Pizzert

Pizza Inn has unveiled its latest dessert, the Stuffed Crust Pizzert, according to a press release.

The dessert features a warm, gooey chocolate fudge stuffed crust. Created by Chef Patty Scheibmeir, the trailblazer who revolutionized pizza in the 1990s with her iconic stuffed crust innovation, this dessert Pizzert is bringing back those sensational memories and redefining the dessert category once again, adding to her culinary legacy.

"We launched a whole new category of pizza in the '90s with cheese-stuffed crust," Chef Scheibmeir said in the press release. "Now, 30 years later, we're breaking ground and redesigning how people eat Pizzerts: crust first. It's an incredible opportunity to innovate again and bring this vision to life with America's favorite hometown pizza buffet. We've enjoyed building on a concept that's been loved for decades with a sweet twist."

Carlos Cojulun, VP of marketing at parent company Rave Restaurant Group, said Pizza Inn is excited to make Stuffed Crust a permanent menu item.

In addition to the Chocolate Chip Pizzert, Pizza Inn plans to explore additional flavors with the Stuffed Crust Pizzert next spring.

Pizza Inn has been serving its pizza buffet since 1958.
