Pizza Inn opens first Colorado restaurant

Pizza Inn has made its debut in Colorado, nearly 50 years after it was founded. The newest restaurant is located in La Junta.

Pizza Inn also has grand openings scheduled this week in Houston and Baxley, Georgia, as well as a reopening of a bigger remodeled restaurant in Vidalia, Georgia planned for next month.

"Precious few restaurant brands have stood the test of time as well as Pizza Inn, and to actually be back in growth mode is especially remarkable," VP of Operations Steve Link said in a news release. "Our focus on quality menu items, friendly customer service and affordable prices has helped us build a large and loyal following. We’re looking forward to bringing that winning formula to the great state of Colorado, and to new towns in Texas, Georgia and across the nation."

According to the release, Pizza Inn is closing in on 300 franchised units across 12 countries.
