Pizza Inn SVP, Clark, to resign in July

June 24, 2004

THE COLONY, Texas—Pizza Inn senior vice president of corporate development, B. Keith Clark, will resign from the struggling chain on July 7.

No reason for the departure was given in a June 16 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As of June 30, 2003, Clark, who is also Pizza Inn's general counsel, owned nearly 68,000 shares of PZZI, worth nearly $190,000 at the close of trading on June 16.

Clark's departure will come a month and a half after the layoffs of about 20 corporate personnel at Pizza Inn. The company expects the cost-trimming measures will free up about $1 million it promised will be used to help franchisees.
