&pizza, and its sister company Tijuana Flats, owned by Latitude Food Group, have put a protein-forward menu across both brands to better serve guests incorporating GLP-1 into their lifestyles, according to a press release.
&pizza's new fully customizable $12 Protein Pie puts guests in full control of building their own GLP-1-friendly pie. Starting with &pizza's dough made with no preservatives or artificial ingredients, guests can then go down a curated selection of GLP-1 friendly ingredients that prioritize satiety and muscle maintenance.
Guests can customize their pie with toppings that support a lighter, more balanced approach, from savory lean proteins to fiber-rich vegetables.
The brand is also kicking off a $14 Protein Salad with chickpeas, a double serving of grilled chicken, goat cheese, roasted corn, pickled red onions and a dual drizzle of basil pesto and fig balsamic.
"For those that are being more intentional with their diet or looking for ways to prioritize protein — we have your back," Mike Burns, CEO of Latitude Food Group, said in the release. "Protein and fiber are things we do quite well at &pizza and Tijuana Flats, and we're putting the spotlight on both with the menu updates that are now in effect at all locations — giving guests who are tracking macros more ways to hit their goals without compromising flavor."
