Pizza Magia partners with Colavita, launches new dipping sauce

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Pizza Magia is introducing a proprietary garlic-seasoned dipping sauce developed in partnership with olive oil producer Colavita USA.

According to a news release, the sauce is made from a blend of extra-virgin olive oil, canola oil, salt, garlic and various Italian spices. It will accompany the chain's pizzas.

"In working with Colavita, we were able to create a blend that caters more to the American palette than simply pure extra-virgin olive oil," Pizza Magia CEO Dan Holland said in the release. "This product mirrors the kind of offering you would find in many upscale Italian restaurants."

According to the release, the dipping sauce should be in all 40 Pizza Magia stores by the end of July.
