On the cusp of National Pizza month that starts Oct. 1, brands are gearing up with deals and LTOs designed to carry fans through to Halloween, beginning with Pizza Hut, which is celebrating its much-loved 40-year-old offering, the Original Pan Pizza, with a deal, according to a news release. For a limited time, customers can get a large original pan pizza with three toppings for $10.99.
In 2019, Pizza Hut wrapped up three years of work on a reinvented Pan recipe that it said perfected the crust, so the deal centers on giving customers the toppings they want on the pie. The special is available via contactless digital order, of which Pizza Hut said it has fulfilled nearly 20 million of since March this year.
Pizza Hut, based in Plano, Texas, is a Yum Brands subsidiary that operates over 18,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
