Richmond Times-Dispatch: Tony Chater is shouting insistently at the customers gathering in his Pizza Place in Shockoe Bottom, Va.
Quinton Armstrong, an 18-year-old with baggy jeans and a white T-shirt, steps up to the counter and orders: "Give me a slice of pizza, and cut it in half."
"I'll have to charge you double," Chater responds with a faded Bronx accent.
